DESCRIPTION:Congregation-Based Community Organizing\, or CBCO\, is a powerful strategy for eradicating poverty\, dismantling racism\, and building congregational vitality. CBCO will energize your congregation and help connect you with community members and groups as you pursue justice and attempt to live out your call as a Hunger Action\, Earth Care\, or Matthew 25 church. \nReverend Alison Dunn-Almaguer\, Senior Organizer for the Washington Interfaith Network (WIN)\, will lead a dynamic session on the why\, what and how of community organizing – and you are invited to spend an hour with us as we explore this powerful missional approach.
