SUMMARY:Presbyterian Youth Triennium
DESCRIPTION:The Presbyterian Youth Triennium is a five day event for high school age youth (entering freshmen through graduated seniors) and accompanying adult youth leaders.  The Triennium is focused on equipping young people to be transformational Christian leaders and seeks to join the home churches of the attendees to help call young people into deeper discipleship in Jesus Christ.  The Youth Triennium is a high energy\, biblically infused and focused\, youth friendly conference.  Registration for the Triennium will begin in late 2015/early 2016.  All presbytery offices and congregations will receive event information and registration guidelines and assistance in Spring 2015.  The Youth Triennium occurs every three years.  Photos and event information (past and current) can be found atwww.presbyterianyouthtriennium.org.

DESCRIPTION:The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) meets biennially in even-numbered years. It consists of commissioners elected by each of its 172 presbyteries. The GA is full of activities: business sessions\, committee meetings\, an exhibit hall\, daily worship services\, and mission tours sponsored by the  Committee on Local Arrangements. \nThe assembly acts on hundreds of items of business\, which it receives through the reports and recommendations of various assembly entities\, and through overtures from synods and presbyteries. \nThe 222nd General Assembly (2016) will be held in Portland\, Oregon—June 18–25\, 2016.
