SUMMARY:Exploring Missional Leadership - Plains and Peaks Presbytery
DESCRIPTION:(EML) is a free daylong event led by 1001 national staff. Through presentations\, active learning and group conversation\, participants will be introduced to the nature of entrepreneurial ministries and the competencies needed to do that work. Individuals discerning a call to start a new worshiping community or other ministry will be guided in identifying the next steps to take in their own skills development. Participants involved in presbytery and church leadership will be guided in ways to identify and cultivate potential new worshiping community leaders and other innovators in their presbytery\, congregation or circle of influence. \nWho is EML for?\n• Individuals discerning a potential call to start a new worshiping community or other new ministry.\n• Pastors and other church leaders seeking to foster innovation in their congregations.\n• Mid council staff and leaders\, including members of 1001 New Worshiping Community Commissions\, Committees on Preparation for Ministry and Committees on Ministry.
