DESCRIPTION:The Hispanic/Latinx National Presbyterian Caucus will hold it Triennial General Assembly September 14-15 in Denver Colorado. Representatives from the ten Synods with regional Caucus and affiliated organizations will discuss issues related to immigration\, new church development\, the possible new structure in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and other important matters affecting Hispanic/Latinx communities in the continental U.S.A and Puerto Rico. New leadership will also be elected for the following three years.  \nThe Stated Clerk of the General Assembly\, Rev. Dr. J. Herbert Nelson\, will join us and will lead the closing worship service.

DESCRIPTION:The General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) meets biennially in even-numbered years. It consists of commissioners elected by each of its 172 presbyteries. The GA is full of activities: business sessions\, committee meetings\, an exhibit hall\, daily worship services\, and mission tours sponsored by the  Committee on Local Arrangements. \nThe assembly acts on hundreds of items of business\, which it receives through the reports and recommendations of various assembly entities\, and through overtures from synods and presbyteries. \nThe 222nd General Assembly (2016) will be held in Portland\, Oregon—June 18–25\, 2016.
